SHS Placement To Be Held In Public Today

The Ministry of Education will for the first time run placement of students into Senior High Schools in the full glare of the public. This will be done for members of the public and the media in Accra today. The initiative is part of efforts by the ministry to restore trust in the process. This follows series of public criticisms of how the placement had been fraught with errors and corruption. Speaking to XYZ News, a deputy director general of the Ghana Education Service, Stephen Adu said the public placement will be done for the first batch of students. We want to do it live for people to see how transparent the process is, Mr. Adu said adding after We want people to have trust in the whole process because if the people have trust then we know we have the peoples support.
