President Mahama Commends Naadu Mills

President John Dramani Mahama has begun his tour of the Greater Accra region from Prampram, hometown of widowed former first lady Ernestina Naadu Mills. President Mahama said he started the Accra �Thank You Tour" from that area as a sign of respect for late President Mills. The Greater Accra tour is the last leg of the President�s national and international tour of appreciation to Ghanaians and neighbours in the sub region for the support shown during late President Mills� death. Addressing the people President Mahama commended Mrs. Naadu Mills for standing by the late President through all the difficult times. The former first lady was also present at the gathering of chiefs and people of Prampram. President Mahama promised to continue with the good works of the late President and ensure that his legacy is complete. �We can�t start the Greater Accra tour without coming here to greet you and seek your permission to move to the other places� President Mahama said. He added �what we have next is to continue his [Mills] vision and establish his legacy, already Ghanaians have realized the value of the asset that we have lost. �So I pledge to you that we shall continue the fight and I am sure that God has already granted us victory in this fight
