President Mahama Wants Founder's Day Incorporated As Part Of Ghana's Statutory Public Holidays

A wreath laying ceremony to commemorate the 103rd anniversary of the birth of Ghana's first President Osagyefo Dr. Kwame Nkrumah has been held at the Kwame Nkrumah Mausoleum in Accra. In a brief address, President Mahama asked Ghanaians to remain proud of Dr.Nkrumah. He has therefore directed the Minister for the Interior to present a Bill to Parliament to amend the Executive Instrument declaring September 21 Founder's Day to be part of the statutory public holidays in the country.
