Nana Konadu Buy Off Story Total CrapBature Is Just A Stomach Journalist

The National Democratic Party (NDP) has described as total rubbish media reports alleging that Former First Lady, Nana Konadu Agyeman Rawlings demanded US$5 million from the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) in order to step down as a presidential candidate for the NDP. Interim General Secretary of the NDP, Dr. Joseph Mamboa-Rockson, says the publication is a figment of someones imagination. The Al-Hajj newspaper reported on Thursday that the wife of the NDC founder, Jerry John Rawlings demanded GH10 million or nearly US$5 million from the party if she is to be persuaded to step down as a possible flagbearer on the ticket of the NDP in the December polls. Nana Konadu is reported to have made those demands when mediators from the NDC impressed upon her to drop her ambition of contesting the crucial elections which if allowed is most likely to split the NDC votes. But Joseph Mamboa, in an interview on Adom FMs Dwaso Nsem programme, debunked the story as untrue and took a swipe at the newspaper editor describing him as a stomach editor who will do anything for his pay masters. There is no truth in the story but a pure crafty fabrication from an unreliable stomach journalistthe Al-Hajj newspaper is a bedroom newspaper and doesnt publish anything factualAlhaji Bature only sits in his bedroom and imagine stories for his newspaper, he said. The NDP General Secretary also scoffed at reports that ex-President Rawlings has endorsed President John Mahama for the December elections and seems to have reconciled whatever differences he had with the NDC leadership, following positive remarks he made about him (Mahama) at a meeting with the Volta Regional House of Chiefs. Mr Rawlings meeting with the Volta Regional House of Chiefs was not a campaign for the NDC and John Mahama;he only commended him for his efforts at rejuvenating the dead NDC, he said.
