Children who are lovers of cartoon series and viewers of DSTV should brace themselves up for more surprises. This is because DSTV is introducing a new cartoon series to the cartoon network franchise known as BEN 10 OMNIVERSE. In the brand-new animated series, Ben has a new character design that pays homage to his past, as well as a whole new batch of aliens to battle. With a little help from his new, by-the-book partner, Rook, Ben explores the quirkier side of things in the alien underground and discovers enemies from his past looking for a rematch; while a mysterious hunter is hot on his trail. BEN 10 Omniverse will feature never-before-seen adventures of Young Ben with Young Gwen and Grandpa Max as they face Malware, an evil Galvanic Mechamorph who corrupts anything he touches. The source said those flashback would tie in to the present-day Ben’s story who looked forward to being a solo superhero with his brand new Omnitrix. However, Grandpa Max has other ideas so he assigns Ben a new plumber partner, Rook who is highly skilled with his proto-tool, but lacks any field experience, especially on earth. Together, Ben and Rook accidentally discover a massive alien city beneath BellWood, teeming with all kinds of alien characters, some quirky, some dangerous. With ten new aliens and a brand new lease on life, Ben 10 is back and more fun than ever.Since the premiere of the original Ben 10 series in 2006, the show has proven to be an international cultural and business phenomenon. Ben 10 has spawned four animated series, two live-action feature-length television movies, one feature-length animated movie for television and one live-action feature film currently in development. Ben Ten Omniverse premiere episode one will be broadcast on Saturday the 6th of October at 09:00am CAT with a One Hour Special.
