The 79 students of the Methodist University who sued the Ministry of Education, the National Accreditation Board (NBA) and the Attorney General�s Department over their withdrawal from the school are free to return to school.
A Human Rights Court on Tuesday ruled in favor of them based on an application filed to the court to place an injunction against the three bodies.
The National Accreditation Board ordered the removal of the students from the university for what they described as wrong entry requirement into the institution.
Some students who spoke to Citi News expressed their joy over the ruling saying, �everything went on well as we were expecting it. We are all happy because I have lost so much throughout the whole process and even right now that we are going back to school, I don�t even have the money to pay the fees.�
The Lawyer for the students, Gary Nimako also told Citi News he is satisfied with the outcome of the case. He said: �The court listened and made a determination that the students as we speak can all go to school until we determine the main action before the honourable court.�
