"If This Place Was The USA, Nana Addo Could Never Run For Prez - Kofi Wayo

Leader of the United Renaissance Party (URP), Charles Kofi Wayo, has appealed to flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party, Nana Addo Dankwah Akufo-Addo, to let go of his avowed aim of becoming president of Ghana. The maverick politician says his special appeal to his once former party mate has to do with the fact that he (Nana Addo) is plagued with so many controversies. He disclosed that even former President Kufuor, in a private conversation with him (Kofi Wayo), had cause to complain about how dangerous Nana Addo is. According to him, the then candidate Kufuor made the allegation in his (Wayo's) private residence when he was soliciting funds ahead of the NPP Congress to elect a flagbearer for the 2000 elections Kufuor himself sat in my house and told me Nana Addo is a dangerous man. Im serious and Im prepared to face Kufuorif he says no, I have witnesses and I will prove it to him on camera that he was with meI was with them at that timeThe guy (Mr. Kufuor) came to my house to ask me for support, he said. He was commenting on the recent discovery of illicit drugs by Border Force officials at UKs Heathrow Airport in containers of fruits and vegetables flown from Ghana on Adom FMs Dwaso Nsem morning show. Officials say the drugs recovered in two separate hauls a few days apart, have an estimated street value of 5 million. Mr. Wayo accused the NPP flagbearer of hobnobbing with people engaged in the drugs trade, and stressed that there was no way Nana Addo could run for an election in the United States because of the allegations hanging around his neck. Go and ask Akuffo Addo when he became a close pal to AmoatengAsk Akuffo Addo who his friends are. This is a major issue because the law doesnt work and if this place was America (USA), Akuffo Addo could never run for president, he said.
