President Mahama Is Very Corrupt

Pressure Group Alliance for Accountable Governance (AFAG) has described President John Dramani Mahama as very corrupt and there is no doubt about his involvement in corrupt practices in this country. The group is therefore challenging President Mahama to report himself to the appropriate authorities to clear him and his office of all the corruption allegations. The leadership of the main opposition NPP has accused President Mahama of engaging in corrupt practices thereby making him and his administration corrupt. But addressing party delegates and supporters at the launch of the NDCs 2012 manifesto, the NDC flagbearer urged his accusers to go and report him to the appropriate authorities if they believe he is corrupt. Speaking to Citi News, the General Secretary of AFAG, Arnold Boateng said a committee must be set up to investigate the President. Nana Addo has come out not just once to say he is not corrupt but we are still looking into issues that AFAG can tag him with. If the NDC has any information, they can help AFAG with the investigations. The current President however has a number of issues that he was directly involved with, he said. He added that the onus lies on him to clear his name on the issue of the Embraer jet. Any Ghanaian who thinks he has been slanted can go to court for them to look at it. Mr. Boateng urged the President to take immediate steps to clarify issues saying, he is the President so he can have a Presidential level committee to investigate all these issues. This can either implicate him or clear him.
