Poor Roads In U/W Delayed Manifesto Launch PNC

The Peoples National Convention (PNC) has blamed the poor state of the roads in Gowllu of the Upper West Region for the delay in launching of the partys campaign and manifesto. The launch of the campaign was scheduled to come off on Saturday, October 6 but according to the National Youth Organizer of the Party, Abu Ramadan, supporters of the party cannot converge at Gwollu because the recent rains have made the roads impassable. He explained, it will be difficult for us to bring our support base all over the ten regions to converge for the congress until the road network is clear. That is the main reason why weve postponed the congress. Mr. Ramadan said the party will also open nominations for interested persons to contest elections in the newly created 45 constituencies before it launches its campaign. Meanwhile, the PNC flag bearer and his team just ended their tour of the Volta Region have expressed believe that Ghanaians are buying into their promise of economic and social liberation.
