President Rawlings To Accuse His Wife of Corruption?

Former President Jerry John Rawlings has been advised to look at the number of fingers pointing to him if he is using one to accuse the National Democratic Congress (NDC) of corruption. Kwadwo Adu-Asare, Member of Parliament, Adenta constituency of the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC), says the same measure he (Rawlings) is using to measure the NDC as corrupt, should also apply to him when he was in power. Adu-Asare has questioned the moral grounds on which the former President keep accusing the NDC of corruption. He added that the way the founder of the party is going about corruption, if his wife, Nana Konadu Agyeman Rawlings becomes the President, he (Rawlings) will accuse her of corruption. Speaking as a panelist on Peace FMs morning show Kokrokoo with host Kwami Sefa-Kayi, he said: When I started hearing Rawlings talking about corruption, I was young and if corruption could have been ended, I believe he is the best crusader to have tackled it: not a three and a half months regime of President Mahama. Sometimes if he is talking, he should check himself. Those words that he uses, he should use a ruler to measure how he has fared under the same topics he raises. Was he successful in tackling corruption? If Nana Konadu Agyeman Rawlings becomes President of Ghana, which I doubt; even when she becomes, President, Rawlings will turn his guns against her under the same corruption allegations Juxtaposing the character of the former President to a popular phrase which says Everything is judged by its appearance; what is unseen counts for nothing. Never let yourself get lost in the crowd, then, or buried in oblivion, he said President Rawlings doesn't want to be buried in the crowd nor be forgotten. As a result he does things to always be in the mind of people. (former President) Rawlings continues to fascinate me a lotHe wants to stand out and to be conspicuous at all cost. He wants to make himself a magnet of attention by appearing larger, more colourful and more mysterious. If as Ghanaians we come to terms with what he is trying to do, we can get along with our politics without paying him so much attention because he enjoys it and unfortunately as a nation we fall for him anytime he tries to actualize this quote I can tell Ghanaians that NDC is resolute, we are grounded firm and deep; we will not shake one bit by whatever situation that are spewed out. We have a candidate who Ghanaians love and no amount of vilification can change the candidates stature. I believe Ghanaians are prepared to give President Mahama the opportunity to correct mistakes that did not start from his era.
