President Will Respect Actions To Expel Rawlings - Spokesperson

President John Dramani Mahama will endorse any possible sanctions issued by the leadership of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) against its founder, Flt. Lt. Jerry John Rawlings. Former President Rawlings faces a possible disciplinary action over his appearance at the congress of the National Democratic Party (NDP) of which his wife, Nana Konadu Agyemang Rawlings is the flagbearer. According to the spokesperson of the president, John Jinapor, his boss will respect any decision taken by the ruling party. Some members of the NDC have questioned the founders commitment to the party after he supposedly endorsed his wife as flagbearer of the breakaway NDP. The General Secretary of the NDC, Johnson Asiedu Nketia, said the action of the founder would be investigated and appropriate sanctions would be applied.
