Prezs Spokesperson Denies Story

John Abdulai Jinapor, Spokesperson to President John Dramani Mahama, has denied a story published by Peacefmonline.com on Tuesday, October 16th. The denial was contained in a rejoinder sent to the Editor on the subject in question. The story, headlined NPP Leaders are Unintelligent Cowards, was sourced from an interview the Presidential Spokesperson granted Radio Gold on that day. Whiles Peacefmonline.com acknowledges that Mr Jinapor did use the words above; we admit the headline of the story was not an accurate or fair extrapolation of statements he made in the interview. We have thus taken steps to rectify it. Peacefmonline.com regrets any inconvenience the Presidential Spokesperson may have suffered as a result of the misleading headline and unreservedly apologize to him, his family, friends, business associates and well-wishers for the publication. Accra Dear Sir, RE: NPP Leaders are Unintelligent Cowards John Jinapor My attention has just been drawn to an article published on your website with the above headline: NPP Leaders are Unintelligent Cowards John Jinapor, attributed to me. For the avoidance of doubt and for the records, I wish to state emphatically that I did not make those statements as captured in your story. It is my belief that my statement was taken out of context and certainly does not represent the message I sought to carry. Finally, I have always been guided by the humility, civility and sense of decorum that our leader (H. E. President John Mahama) has always exhibited and it is therefore not in my character to verbally attack any person. It is therefore my hope that you will take the appropriate steps to rectify the erroneous impression your story sought to create. Thank you. Signed....... John Abdulai Jinapor Presidential Spokesperson
