Express Savings And Loans Marks 5th Anniversary

Express Savings and Loans Company Limited, one of the indigenous non-bank financial institutions in the country, has celebrated its fifth anniversary in Accra with a pledge to introduce more products that would help meet the varied needs of clients. The anniversary launch was at the company�s Tesano branch in Accra. The Managing Director of the company, Mr Anthony Effah, said the company was looking at introducing savings and current accounts, as well as automobile �susu� programmes. The savings and current account would be opened to the public, while the automobile �susu� programme will be for middle level management staff of the company, the MD explained. The management and staff of the company had a thanksgiving service at the Action Chapel in Accra as part of events earmarked for the anniversary celebration. A new fabric was also launched as the official Friday wear for staff. The MD said he was grateful to the staff for the hard work over the years, which he said had earned Express Savings and Loans an enviable success in the savings and loans industry. The Group Executive Chairman, Mr Obed Danquah, urged the workers of the company to continue to support the company with positive attitude to help the company and the development of the nation. Express Savings and Loans had been in existence since October 2007. The company has 19 branches acrosss the country and employs over 400 people.
