Bebelino, Tee-Phlow, Magnificent And Strongman For "Next Big Thing In GH" Finals

After weeks of testing their skills in hip hop and their versatility, four emcees managed to convince the Ghanaian public that they are indeed the men amongst the twelve emcees that started the next big thing in GH competition. Their last versatility skill was on dancehall, and that was so far the toughest task they had ever done. Hip hop and dancehall are two different genres, different in beat and rhyming and even language. The producer carefully selected the judges for this final task, the judges were Sammy B a reggae/dancehall artiste and Hammer a hip hop sound engineer and record label owner. It was a night of make or break as each emcee took to the stage to do his dancehall tune. Some emcees for lack of understanding the dancehall task or deeply rooted in hip hop were still rapping over a dancehall beat. The judges were not so much surprised but were of the view they could have much better if they had researched enough into dancehall. Other emcees decided to rap and have their choruses in dancehall flavor thing they will outsmart the judges and the audience but the judges were too smart. No matter how difficult this task was, some emcees managed to shine amongst their peers. They indeed did a dancehall tune, with an exact language, rhyming and the audience were mesmerized by their multitalented and so were the judges. The judges were full of praise for those who carefully took their time to know what dancehall is all about and managed to sound just like dancehall artiste. It was time for the men to be separated from the boys, all six emcees were called on stage but only four made it to the finals. The four next big thing in GH finalists are Bebelino, Tee-Phlow, Magnificent and Strongman, the final eviction saw Selorm and Black exiting the competition. These four underground hip hop emcees have paid their dues right from the start of the competition and have won the hearts of Ghanaians and the judges. All four emcees have unique styles of rap and stage performances that will thrill your mind so it came as no surprise for the audience when the four emcees were selected as the four finalists. The finals of the next big thing is scheduled to take place on the ninth of November 2012, details of the final event will soon be communicated to the general public but in the time being viewers and fans of the four emcees are advised to text the name of their favourite emcee to the short code 1758 across all networks and visit the facebook fanpage www.facebook.com/ NextBIGThingGH page or the website http://ghonetv.com/nextbigthang/ for more information and leave shout outs to their favorite emcee which will be read during the live shows.
