Ayariga Saved John Mahama From Shame Sammi Awuku

A Deputy Communications Director of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Sammy Awuku has urged President John Dramani Mahama to thank the flagbearer of Peoples National Convention, Hassan Ayariga for saving him from shame at the IEA debate. Sammy Awuku said president Mahama would have been embarrassed at the just ended IEA debate held in Tamale for his poor performance but he was saved by Hassan Ayariga who performed worse. President Mahama was among the four presidential candidates who participated in the first of the Institute of Economic Affairs-organised presidential debates. The debate which attracted over 400 accredited persons saw President Mahama, Nana Akufo-Addo of NPP, Hassan Ayariga and Dr. Abu Sakara Foster of CPP showcasing their vision for the nation about Health, Industrialization, Finance and Corruption. Speaking to Adom News, Sammy Awuku said President Mahama performed abysmally but Hassan Ayariga was worse and that saved the president from being exposed for his incompetence. Nanas performance was great, simply fantastic especially the way he answered the questions. NPP is delighted that when you listen to lecturers, civil society, academia and the working class they all say the night belonged to Nana Akufo-Addo. There were a lot of things that Nana Akufo-Addo asked President Mahama that he dodged. When he (Akufo-Addo) asked him about important issues like One-Time premium for health insurance, inflated cost of building schools, and corruption he dodged all of them. If President Mahama has any thanks, he should give it to Hassan Ayariga, who saved him from coming last (in the debate). Meanwhile the Progressive Peoples Party (PPP) has accused IEA of discrimination. The National Secretary of the party, Kofi Asamoah said that IEA should have allowed all the parties to participate so that Ghanaians can make informed decisions on which party to vote for based on their performance.A Deputy Communications Director of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Sammy Awuku has urged President John Dramani Mahama to thank the flagbearer of Peoples National Convention, Hassan Ayariga for saving him from shame at the IEA debate.
