Vice President Paa Kwasi Amissah-Arthur has joined the chiefs and people of Anlo and others from all walks of life to celebrate this year's Hogbetsotso Za at Anloga in the Volta Region. It also marks the golden jubilee of the Hogbetsotso Za. Other dignitaries include former President J.J. Rawlings, Chairman of the Council of State Prof Kofi Awoonor, Ambassador Victor Gbeho, Ministers of State, MPs and DCEs. The 50th Hogbetsotso celebration is on the theme, Deepening our reconciliation, unity and peace towards accelerated development. Meanwhile, government has presented GH� 5,000.00, ten cartons of beer, ten cartons of assorted soft drinks, four crates of Guinness, four crates of malt and a carton of castle bridge.
