NDC MP: Nana Addo Lacks The Requisite Skills To Handle Ghana

The NDC Member of Parliament for Walewale in the Northern Region, Hon. Iddrisu Zakari Alidu has appealed to legitimate voters not to make the irreversible mistake of voting for Nana Akufo-Addo in the upcoming elections, since he lacks the requisite experience to manage Ghana when given the mandate. The renowned educationist was of a firm conviction that the flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party(NPP), had never stepped in and played any managerial role in this country considering the roles he has endeavored in his political career. "Nana Addo has never sat in as a president and we are viewing this issue and giving the spare driver (President Mahama) a chance", he emphasized. Hon. Iddrisu Zakari Alidu, likened Nana Addo to a "driver-mate" an accolade he explained to mean "someone who has never stepped in the corridors of leadership". Speaking on Radio Gold, the MP for Walewale stated that though Nana Addos running mate hailed from the same region President Mahama comes from, tradition demanded of them to vote for the president. "Lets take it that our brother (Dr. Bawumia) is a running mate to Nana Addo, but the other brother who is John Mahama, is a presidential candidate for a party...and I believe that you also know how we run our politics in Ghana, when your mother is in the kitchen, you get the food to eat...and as the president being from the Northern Region, we are nearer the food than the vice president", he stated.
