This week�s eviction on The Challenge TV show was based on the contestants�� sales performance. In their task, they were to come up with sales promotional plan that will sell the tigo cash service. Both sales team did incredibly well however, one team excelled over the other.
In the boardroom the challengers met with Ama Daaku, head of entertainment at Tigo and Albert Ocran. Ama Daaku was impressed with their sales performance and was of the view that their sales performance have made representatives of Tigo know exactly what their customers expect from them.
The two teams that are Creative Marketing Group and Millicon Agents explained to the board how they chose their target market, how they went about the sales pitching and their challenges. After this the two teams took turns to criticize or praise the other group of their performance.
Both teams criticized each other of their target audience and their failure to educate their target audience on how to use the tigo cash service especially those who are not text savvy. In the end the board members agreed that Creative Marketing Group although lacked confidence in how they educated their target audience on the usage of tigo cash, they did a better job compared to Millicon Agents.
The Creative Marketing Group won 1000ghc and was immune from eviction. Millicon Agents group took the hot seat and had to pick the weakest link, it was a tie that had to be broken by the public votes.
The board said if it was in their hands, they would have evicted the two people at the bottom. It was between Emmanuel and Samuel, the board said Emmanuel failed to impress them with his defense speech and Samuel also decided to hide behind the fact he is a soft spoken person. At the end of the day, the board took a neutral stand and mandated the Milicon Agents Group to evict who in their opinion was the weakest link and decided to evict Samuel.
