Nana Addo Will Ensure Free SHS Kufuor

FORMER PRESIDENT John Agyekum Kufuor has asked the electorate at La Dadekotopon to vote for Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, flag bearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), to enable him to implement the free Senior High School (SHS) education policy. He said the NPP was capable of delivering on its promise of providing free SHS. The former president made this call when he addressed a rally of NPP supporters at La recently to officially introduce Oscar Nii Odoi Glover, an aspiring parliamentarian for the area. He said the NPP had put in place the infrastructure and needed personnel to ensure the implementation of the free SHS. He therefore urged party supporters to put the party in the lead in the upcoming elections by voting massively for Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and Oscar Nii Odoi Glover. I am here to say to all the people of La to vote for Nana Addo and Oscar Nii Odoi Glover, he said. He said the National Democratic Congress (NDC) had failed to deliver on its promise of a better Ghana. Ghana has got everything to prosper but citizens are suffering because of bad governance, he said. Outlining his vision and plan for the constituency to an enthusiastic crowd, Nii Odoi Glover said the incumbent MP had failed to bring any development to the constituency. He said though the constituency had a lot of natural resources, those were not being utilized for the development of the area, adding that should he be voted into office, he would ensure development and create jobs for the youth of the constituency. According to him, the free SHS policy of Nana Addo would benefit Ghanaians and thus urged the electorate to be vigilant and ensure the NPP win the December polls. Party bigwigs including Sheikh I. C. Quaye, Dr. Nyaho Tamakloe, Adomako Baafi, Henry Quartey and other party officials were all present to support Oscar Nii Odoi Glover.
