NPP Should Be Held Responsible If Anything Happens To Me - Ayariga

Flagbearer of the Peoples National Convention (PNC), Hasan Ayariga, has lodged an official complaint to the police that his life has been threatened by the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP). Speaking in an interview on Metro TV news, he said spokesperson of Nana Addo Danquah Akufo Addo, flagbearer of the NPP, Abu Jinapor, threatened him after the IEA Presidential debate which was held at the Banquet Hall, States House on Wednesday. He said Abus threat was based on the fact that he, Ayariga said when elected as the President, he will not say All die be die like my father here, pointing to Nana Addo. Based on the threat, Ayariga has indicated that if something happens to him or his family, the NPP should be held responsible. He said: if anything happens to me or my family then Ghanaians should know that my life is in the hands of the NPP However, speaking on the same platform, Abu Jinapor said he had never threatened the PNC flagbearer. According to him, after the IEA debate, Mr. Ayariga walked towards him to exchange pleasantries (handshake) with him but he declined. He came to shake my hands and I told him I will not shake his hands because the performance he put up there was shameful, disgraceful and disgusting he said.
