Nana Addo Takes Campaign Trail To Western Region

The Presidential candidate of the NPP, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo has begun a two day visit to the Western Region with whistle stops at Sekondi, Esikado, Axim and Ahanta and other Constituencies. He said the NDC promised the fisher folks heaven but failed to implement a single project that will benefit them. The issue of pair trawling, premix fuel and high cost of outboard motor took centre stage in Nana Addos campaign trail to the western region. The fisher folks complained about the raw deal they received under the current administration. Nana Addo said he is not into the business of failed promises. He assured them that every single promise he has made will be fulfilled. Nana Addo reiterated pledge to bring back the ministries of fisheries to take care of the fishing community. He said he will depolitise the issue of pre mix fuel distribution. Nana Addo said the issue of premix fuel will be handled by the fisher folks themselves. Former national chairman of the NPP, Peter Mac Manu, thanked the EC for introducing the biometric system of registration and voting. He said it will go a long way to reduce rigging in the December polls. Mr Mac Manu asked party supporters to be vigilant during voting day. The party will hold the second regional rally on Sunday. Hundreds of supporters are expected to attend the rally which will be used to introduce all the party parliamentary candidates in the region to the electorates.
