The Eastern Regional Secretariat of National Democratic Congress, NDC, has expressed condolences to the family of the late Volta Regional Minister, Henry Ford Karmel, who died on Christmas Day. The Regional Secretary of the Party, Anthony Gyampo, expressed these sentiments with GBC's Sunrise Radio in Koforidua. He said the death of the Minister, who was also a newly elected MP for Buem Constituency, is a catastrophe to the party, since it has lost a great and efficient leader. Mr. Gyampo described the late Ford Karmel as a Minister whose leadership role helped in improving the socio-economic growth of the region, especially his constituency. He said though the MP�s death has created a vacuum, they believe his spirit will continue to be with the people to push the agenda he started.
