A Deputy Communications Director of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Samuel Awuku has described the General Secretary of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Johnson Asiedu Nketia as an 'idiot' after the ruling party filed an application to join the �idiots� in court. During the latter days of 2012, the General Secretary of the National Democratic Congress(NDC), Johnson Asiedu Nketia, openly stated that the doors of democracy, has paved way for �any idiot to go to court� to sue or overturn a ruling. Aseidu Nketia�s comment, was aimed at the NPP's decision to go to court over the just ended presidential elections which they (NPP) described as fraudulent. The description from the NDC scribe affectionately called General Mosquito, led to a public outburst and Mr. Nketia received public condemnation from NPP members who felt aggrieved by his utterance. Samuel Awuku expressed surprise at seeing the NDC�s General Secretary in court, �swearing an affidavit� to join the �idiots� in court on Wednesday. He wondered why Asiedu Nketia could overstep his sanity boundary and meddle in the affairs of �idiots� who have decided to invalidate the presidency of President Mahama in court. Speaking on Okay FM, Sammy Awuku recalled that �when we decided to go to court, our friends in the NDC told us our case was senseless and it was better for us to withdraw it. "They called on people to mock at us; the General Secretary of the party, Johnson Asiedu Nketia declared that �any idiot can go to court�. "Surprisingly, after Asiedu Nketia called the NPP �idiots�; he has joined us to pursue the case in court. Asiedu Nketia cried that �any idiot can go to court�, but today he has gone to swear an affidavit to join the �idiots� in court,� he added.
