Kakra Essamuah Should Face A Firing Squad Owusu Bempah

The Deputy Communications Director for the National Democratic Party (NDP), Ernest Owusu Bempah, has vehemently condemned the National Peace Council and Media Foundation for West Africa, for not making their voice heard in the issue involving Kakra Essamuahs alleged plot to stage a coup dtat should any court of jurisdiction declare Nana Akufo-Addo president of Ghana. Owusu Bempah lamented how selective the two bodies have been in recent times when it comes to speaking to issues bordering on peace in the country. According to him, had Kakra Essamuahs treasonable comment emanated from a member of the opposition, the National Peace Council would have swiftly come out to shame and condemn that person. The NDP Dep Communications Director opined that for Kakra Essamuah to boldly declare his support for any form of coup dtat in the event that the court rules in favour of the NPP and Akufo-Addo is declared president of this republic, he should be arraigned before a law court and made to face firing squad. Not long ago, I was apprehended by the BNI for two days and I wonder what is more treasonable than this statement coming from Kakra Essamuah which is dangerous to the sovereignty of this nation. Owusu Bempah pointed out on Peace FMs Midday News that he least expected such irresponsible remarks from the NDC bigwig at this trying moments in the nation's history. He wondered if the country was being run in the "Animal Farm" way, where politics centres on four legs good, two legs bad in Ghana? "If Kennedy Agyapong could be arrested and I could also be arrested, then what stops them from doing same to Kakra Essamuah? Is he bigger than some of us in Ghana? he questioned.
