Kofi Adams: I'm Not On Suspension...I'm Still The Deputy Gen. Secretary of The NDC

Spokesperson of the Rawlingses, Kofi Adams, has said he is not a suspended Deputy General Secretary of the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) as being proclaimed by Johnson Asiedu Nketia. Unlike what Johnson Asiedu Nketia also known as General Mosquito said that Kofi Adams is still on suspension until the disciplinary committee of the NDC review his case, Kofi Adams has disclosed in an interview on Peace FMs morning show programme kokrokoo stating that; I am not a suspended Deputy General Secretary of the NDC, I am the Deputy General Secretary of the NDC...I am not on any suspension as we speak now, he concluded. Mr. Kofi Adams was suspended from the NDC following a leaked tape recording that surfaced last year, containing a voice alleged to be that of his plotting to do all he can to ensure that the late President John Evans Atta Mills had a one term presidency. Mr. Kofi Adams was denied by the National Executive Committee (NEC) of the NDC from contesting as a Member of Parliament in the Buem by-election because he is still on suspension. However, he insists that his suspension ended on the 20th of July 2012. Mr. Adams indicated that he appeared before the disciplinary committee following his suspension for many occasions. Afterwards he called the members of the committee to find out if they needed him to appear before them again. However, they replied in the negative; meaning they can go on with the case without my presence. I dont mind if this is happening because someone may not like me; because everything I do, I take it to prayer and I know my God does not sleep nor slumbers. So I dont care what mankind wants to do. I have appeared before the committee and I have asked the members of the committee whether they needed my presence again and they said nolegally as far as the constitution (NDC) is concerned, I am not on suspension and I have not been on suspension since the 20th of July 2012. I have been doing the work I am supposed to do he said religiously.
