France Has Confidence In Economic Track Record Of Ghana, Says French Ambassador

French Ambassador Mr Frederic Clavier, has proposed a joint co-operation to promote bilateral interests between Ghana and France. He said the French Government has confidence in the economic track record of Ghana, coupled with its democratic stability, which are very good signals for foreign investments. Mr Frederic Clavier, said this when he paid a courtesy call on Vice President Paa Kwesi Bekoe Amissah-Arthur, at the Flagstaff House in Accra. He has therefore proposed a visit of a high powered business delegation from France to Ghana in May, to promote French business. Mr Frederic Clavier said his country has also extended an invitation to President John Dramani Mahama for a visit. Vice President Amissah-Arthur said Ghana will continue to co-operate with France on political, military and diplomatic issues. He also assured the international community that Ghana will remain a stable democracy. The Vice President said Ghana will engage France on sub-regional issues, including the resolution of the Malian crisis.
