Ghana coach Kwesi Appiah says he does not understand the Twitter phenomena but welcomed a congratulatory tweet from Kevin-Prince Boateng. The AC Milan ace, who resigned from the Black Stars in November 2011, took to the micro-blogging website to express his delight after watching the team beat Mali 1-0 last Thursday. Boateng wrote on his official Twitter account: "Congrats to Ghana black stars!!!very good performance against Mali" "It is nice to hear. I have not even heard this. Actually, I don't even know how this tweeting thing but it is good that players who not involved are showing concern,'' Ghana coach Kwesi Appiah said. "I also keep saying it is about Ghana so once he is Ghanaian and showing support is well appreciated." Midfielder Derek Boateng who played with the former Germany international at the 2010 FIFA World Cup "We are very happy that he is still supporting the nation because he has a lot of good friends in the team and we supported him when he was playing with us," the FC Dnipro player said.
