Tunisian Jedidi to handle Ghana-Burkina Faso semis clash

Tunisian Slim Jedidi will be at the centre of affairs for Wednesday�s semi-final clash between Ghana and Burkina Faso in Nelspruit. The 42-year old, considered the finest referee in his native Tunisia, will be handling his third match at the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations underway in South Africa. His first game at the tournament was the Group B clash between Mali and Niger in Port Elizabeth before capping it with the Cape Verde � Angola clash at the same venue later. The game will be the second time, Jedidi will be officiating a game involving a Ghanaian side after the Local Black Stars lone goal loss to Niger at the African Nations Championship (CHAN) in Sudan in 2011. Information gathered by GNA Sports indicates that he will be assisted by compatriots Hassani Bechir and Hmila Anouar. Moroccan Bouchaib El Ahrach will serve as the fourth official. The match will come off at 16h30 GMT at the Mbombela Stadium in Nelspruit.
