Black Stars Cry All Night...

Some senior members of the Black Stars reportedly cried all night after they were beaten by Burkina Faso in the semifinal of the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations, currently ongoing in South Africa. The Ghanaians were hoping to end a 31-year trophy drought, by winning the ongoing tournament. Indeed in a farewell visit to the President, John Mahama, the team promised to bring back the cup to Ghana, at the end of the tournament. But their dreams were cut short last Wednesday by the impressive Burkinabes, who dominated the semifinal clash, and eventually won on penalties. The Ghanaian players were in somber mood, with most of the players said to have cried all night. An official of the FA told Daily Guide Sports, The players have cried all night, they couldnt sleep, its terrible my brother. Indeed, the semi final defeat they suffered at the hands of their Burkinabe counterparts had crushed their spirits and it was clearly written on their faces as they gathered at the dining table. From the technical team to the playing body, they struggled to have their breakfast yesterday. Others went straight to the teams bus until they left for the airport.
