NPP "Robot" MPs Are More Knowledgeable Than NDC MPs

General Secretary of the opposition New Patriotic Party(NPP), Kwadwo Owusu Afriyie, has labeled "all the NDC MPs" as less knowledgeable to their Minority counterparts. The Minority staged a walk out in parliament when President John Mahama, addressed the country in his first State of the Nation's Address. The NPP, justified their action by explaining that their walk out, is in line with their party's call for sustained political pressure on President John Mahama, because they believed he used fraudulent means to win power. However, the Deputy Majority Chief Whip, Hon. Samson Ahi, who represents the people of Bodi, in his attempt to rubbish the NPPs excuse; made a public outburst which created an impression that NPP MPs, dont have a mind on their own. "They are behaving like robots as if they cannot think and take decisions for themselves", he said in reference to the NPP MPs. "I saw Sir John in Parliament giving instructions to NPP MPs to leave the House just before they walked out... that was after the Minority leader himself had told the world that they will sit in Parliament and listen to the State of the Nation's Address, he added. Nevertheless, in a direct reply to Hon. Ahis claim that NPP MPs are being manipulated like robots, the General Secretary for the NPP, Kwadwo Owusu Afriyie, cautioned NDC legislators not to belie themselves as knowledgeable since their knowledge come nowhere near the finger nails of the Minority MPs. I know in Ahis own mind, he knows our Members of Parliament are knowledgeable than all the NDC MPs. When you compare the two camps, you would realize that the NDC MPs fall short when it comes to knowledgethey dont even come close to the nails of our MPs, let alone their feet, Sir John highlighted on Okay FM. The NPP scribe also denied being anywhere near the Parliament house as Hon. Ahi had alleged and made it clear that the people representing the NPP in parliament were educated individuals who had their own minds. "It is a sad issue he (Ahi) has brought up. I was nowhere close to the House to give orders to NPP MPs to leave the place. I was rather waiting to catch a Star Bow flight to Kumasi to attend an occasion. "This shows how frustrated the NDC has become, he said.
