The Board of Directors of RICS Consult Limited, a Public / Media Relations, Event Management, Sports Marketing Consultancy firm has announced the appointment of Mrs. Nana Adwoa Danquah as its Chief Operating Officer. Mrs. Danquah, a graduate of the University of Ghana Business School (UGBS) with an Executive MBA in Marketing; holds a BSc. in Business Administration, majoring in Marketing at the Central University College, Accra; holds a diploma in Public Relations and Advertising from the Ghana Institute of Journalism (GIJ); and a certificate in Events Management & Protocol. A product of Mfantsiman Girls Secondary School, she has participated in several leadership programmes, including Women In Leadership organised by Otabil & Associates. She joined RICS Consult Limited in 1999 as a Projects Coordinator and before her present appointment has been the General Manager of the Company for the past 7 years. Mrs. Danquah takes over the Chief Operating Officer position at a time that the company is consolidating its foremost place in the emerging events industry in Ghana; and it is expected that this will leave Mr. Magnus Rex Danquah, the Founder and Executive Chairman of RICS Consult Limited the room to leverage his three decades of experience to grow the company�s external business interests. Nana Adwoa undoubtedly is a strategic thinker, an astute event planner & manager with over 12 years industry experience, 7 years in top niche PR & integrated marketing communications consultancy; and has been leading all key presentations of the company over the last five years. Says Mr. Danquah, �The past 27 years have been the most rewarding years of my life, and at age 58 this year, I am more than convinced that it is the most opportune time to shift and take on the new challenges that I anticipate as growing the international aspects of our business.
