A former Member of Parliament for the Adenta constituency, Kwadwo Adu Asare says the New Patriotic Party (NPP) is being inconsistent with their decision to take part in tomorrow�s budget statement in parliament. Barring any last minute changes, the minority in parliament will be present in parliament tomorrow, Tuesday for the reading of the 2013 Budget statement and Economic Policy by the Minister of Finance, Seth Terkper. This act has been considered by many as a turnaround from their previous decision not to participate in anything that will legitimise the presidency of President John Dramani Mahama. Speaking to Kwami Sefa-Kayi, on �Kokrokoo� on Monday, Adu Asare said the NPP minority members are becoming �unstable in their decision making, adding, �it is not the best�. �Ghanaians are giving pressure and so want to attend. Otherwise, there is no reason for them to announce their presence�we will come because this concerns Ghanaians; as if what we have already done in the past concerned Togo and Benin. And so for me the inconsistency is very consistent�I find it so difficult to understand why with this they want to come. Nobody is stopping you, come and listen because that is what you are being paid for�they are becoming unstable in their decisions and it is not the best�� he said. Meanwhile, tomorrow's budget statement is expected to focus on the continuous stabilization of the economy, infrastructure development and accelerating growth that will sustain the confidence in the future of the Ghanaian economy. It will also detail the achievements for 2012 year and government economic policies for the medium term.
