XCLUSIV FOTOS: Has Chris Brown Refused To Show Up For The "Hope City Concert?

American RnB superstar Chris Brown is yet to touch down on Ghanaian soil for the much publicized big RLG Hope City Project. According to information gathered by peacefmonline.com, Chris 'Breezy' was expected to touch down on Monday March 4, 2013 but for some reason put up a no-show during the most important part of the project, The Hope City Project. The Hope City Project itinerary included the official unveiling and sod-cutting of the sophisticated edifice expected to be the largest ICT hub in Africa and one of the biggest in the world and then a musical concert dubbed Hope City Concert to celebrate a successful unveiling and give Ghanaians unique opportunity to party with Chris Brown and the Ghanaian artistes billed to perform. A source told peacefmonline.com that Chris Brown was supposed to land in Ghana on early Monday morning to attend the sod-cutting ceremony with the President of Ghana. For some reason Chris Brown did not turn up leaving the President Mahama to do the sod-cutting alone. After the grand ceremony, a member of the organising team told peacefmonline.com that Chris Brown had been rescheduled to arrive in Ghana in a private jet at 5pm on Monday evening January 4, 2013, however, by close of yesterday there was still no sign of the Dont Wake Me Up stars presence in Ghana. Chris Brown was therefore absent at the Dinner at the banquet hall of the State House organised as part of the days activities for sponsors of the event, business partners of the project from other countries and a few carefully selected invited guests. At about 11pm Monday evening when Peacefmonline.com visited the Accra Sports Stadium where the Hope City Concert is scheduled to take place, the technical team including Chris Browns technical men were still putting finishing touches to the stage set up, lights, sound and seating arrangement. Even though organizers were not clear on when Chris Brown is arriving in Ghana, the latest information Peacefmonline.com gathers indicates that He is now expected to touch down in Ghana on Tuesday morning March 5, 2013 and perform later in the evening. At the time of filing this report at 8am Tuesday morning, Chris Brown had still not arrived and organizers are not coming clear on when Chris will arriving. This may also affect the pre-event Radio and Television interviews lined-up for him as the Grammy Award winning singer may be too tired to run around for interviews and also do sound check before the event this evening. Meanwhile all is set for the Brown Skin Girl singer to rock Ghana this evening as tickets of the show is fast running out. As at this morning the VIP tickets which goes for GH100 had run out. All the supporting Ghanaian artistes - R2Bees, Samini, D-Black, Efya and Sherifa Gunu are set to share stage with Breezy. The event is sponsored by Ghanaian ICT Company RLG and produced by Charter House and Empire Entertainment.
