More NDC Delay Tactics Exposed 9 Separate Joinder Applications Filed At Supreme Court

'The New Statesman' is reliably informed that the ruling National Democratic Congress, in light of the overwhelming evidence showing the rigging of the 2012 election for John Mahama, has filed 9 separate joinder applications at the Supreme Court to be joined in the case challenging the validity of the December 2012 elections. The ruling National Democratic Congress administration, the New Statesman can confirm has tasked its constituency executives across the country to get its supporters, through the use of cash inducements, to agree to have their names and signatures placed on joinder applications to be sent to the Supreme Court. The filing of the 9 applications for joinders was done yesterday at the Registry of the Supreme Court and has been described as being part of the grand scheme by the NDC to delay the case being heard at the Supreme Court. The case for the 9 separate applications for joinders will be heard on the 14th of March. The 14th of March will also see the Supreme Court hearing the petitioners motion seeking directions for the continuation of the Supreme Court case. At the time of going to press, the New Statesman had uncovered the names of a further 10 persons being registered by the NDC, in their bid to file similar joinder applications at the Supreme Court. The 10 names include: Eli Dumashie, Wisdom Dzikunu, Abraham Datsomor, Matilda Datsomor, Peter Adade, Solomon Danso, Samuel Aryeetey, Rosemond Datsomor, Isaac Addo and Sefa Deddeh. Strangely enough, all 9 persons belong to the same Polling Station (C081901A) in the Ablekuma South Constituency. Each of the ten persons, on forms supplied by the NDC, had filled in their names and personal details consenting to their being joined to the suit titled Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo & Others V John Dramani Mahama & Others, writ number J1/6/2013. The ten persons also gave consent to the swearing to or signing of affidavits or documents that may be required in support of the application to join the petition; and consent to the appointment of a solicitor for each of them.
