Member of Parliament for Assin Central, Hon. Kennedy Agyapong has called on NDC functionaries to be conscious of the fact that they can never descend into their graves with their wealth when they eventually kick the bucket. A peeved Agyapong remarked that the behavior of some NDC bigwigs was equivalent to that of an hungry cockerel which has been set loose by the owner to feed on grains of corn. �For how long are we going to live on earth for us to destroy our country because of our personal gains? I am satisfied with the little I have but I wonder where they are amassing theirs to. Don�t they (NDC functionaries) know about death?� he inquired. The NPP MP also observed that rampant looting of state resources and spewing of falsehoods has become the order of the day and the ruling party was using the above strategies to amass personal wealth. To him, it is an eyesore when documents showing how the NDC was doling out monies to their cronies are fused into the national budget. Obviously piqued about the �looting� spree which is becoming the order of the day, Hon. Kennedy Agyapong descended heavily on former minister of finance, Kwabena Duffour by describing him as a typical example of an adult character who has sold his conscience for earthly riches. �I have the man (Kwabena Duffour) on tape with people advising him and he asks them �what can we do? What can we do? We are losing the elections what can we do? We need to give the money�. �Haven�t you realized how the NDC has used him? An elderly man of Ashanti origin with such caliber, just selling his conscience for his stomach,� Hon. Agyapong said.
