Failed NDC parliamentary aspirant for Ablekuma North constituency, Ras Mubarak, has called on Ghanaians to refrain from harshly criticizing President Mahama�s administration since he assumed office barely two months ago and wouldn�t be able to solve all the problems challenging the nation. Mubarak was reacting to the incessant uproar from the general public concerning how President Mahama has reacted to most of the challenges dragging the nation aback. He posited that the president and his competent team of ministers were clearly showing efforts of lifting the heavy weight the dire economy straits has placed on Ghanaians. He was however emphatic that a younger administration with a new leader, can never perform as swiftly as one that has been in power for long and knows how to resolve economic problems. �President Mahama has actually been in power as president for only two months, one week, since he was sworn in...he can�t drive the nation on high speed,� he said. Taking a little jibe at critics of President Mahama�s administration, Ras Mubarak posited that every citizen had a vital role to play in ensuring that the nation is placed at its rightful place. He charged every worker to do his or her possible best to brighten the corner where they are, and avoid always looking up to the president in times of hardships. �Let me make this point clear, governance is solely not only about the business of the president. This is because whether we are bequeathed with good or evil, it affects all of us. Whether you are a soldier, private sector worker, government worker; the job of the president is as important as your job�it is about time we put a stop to heaping all the blame on the president to handle�. �Clearly, government is providing leadership and we have put things in order to ensure we have disciple in our budgetary spending to undertake the development projects that we have in our country,� he stated.
