NPP Lacks Logic Asiedu Nketia

The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has dismissed assertions by the General Secretary of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Mr. Owusu Afriyie that Dr Mahamudu Bawumia was targeted in a accident that occured at the weekend because he was the lead witness in the case challenging the credibility of the 2012 election at the Supreme Court. Dr. Bawumia escaped unhurt when was two tyres of the vehicle he was travelling in exploded, forcing the car to skid off the road. He was travelling from Bole in the Northern region to the Ashanti region. Speaking to Citi News the General Secretary of the NDC stated that he was not surprised about the comments of the NPP General Secretary Mr. Owusu Afriyie. I think that he has the perchant of providing the country with comic relief. So he is doing what he knows best. What NPP has been saying is an indication that they are a desperate group trying to look for their lost cow in a hen coop. He added, if anybody wants to kill anybody that will influence the case, it will not be Bawumia because whichever way the case goes, Bawumias presence will not affect the implementation of the courts decision at all he said. He noted that Bawumia has finished the assignment the NPP gave him, that is gathering of information and if that evidence has already been gathered then, it has been given to the lawyers and the lawyers will present it to court and not Bawumia. They are acting to fulfil my belief in them that, they lack logic he added.
