P.C Appiah Ofori To Sir John: It Is Wrong To Accuse NDC

A leading member of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) has asked the General Secretary of the party, Kwadwo Owusu Afriyie to provide evidence to support his allegation against the National Democratic Congress (NDC). Kwadwo Owusu Afriyie, also known as Sir John, following the accident of the former Deputy Governor of Bank of Ghana (BoG), Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia on Sunday, pointed accusing fingers at the ruling NDC and President Dramani Mahama of being involved. Sir John has received a lot of flak following this accusation. Speaking in an interview on Peace FM on Tuesday, P.C Appiah Ofori, a former NPP MP for Asikuma Odoben Brakwa said it is unprofessional to just throw allegations in the air without substantiating it. He has rubbished and disagreed with Sir John's allegation that because the accident occurred at the Presidents hometown he is behind the plot to assassinate Dr. Bawumia. It is very wrong to say that the accident was caused by NDC What has NDC got to do with this? What evidence does he have to support his claim? If you dont have proof, you dont make such an accusation and so on that score, I disagree with him. The tyre of any car can deflate at anytime; whether new or old We have to stop saying things that will bring about misunderstanding and division in the country. I wont accept it that the NDC caused the accident because of the Supreme Court case. It is purely an accident which can happen everywhere and anytime he stated.
