The Minister of Finance and Economic Planning, Seth Tekper, has reminded accountants to go by the ethics of their profession in order to maintain high standards of probity and competence. He said recent corporate standards failures and scandals that have rocked some mulch-national financial institutions have highlighted the need for sound governance and ethical behaviour. Mr. Tekper was speaking at the opening of an Inducting Course for 286 members of the institute of Chartered Accountants in Accra.
