Alfred Ogbamey Tells Sir John: Behave Like A Lawyer

The Managing Editor of the defunct Gye Nyame Concord newspaper, Alfred Ogbamey has advised the General Secretary of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) to respect his profession as a lawyer due to his recent cacophonies on the issue of Dr. Bawumias recent accident. General Secretary of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Kwadwo Owusu Afriyie, accused the Mahama-led administration for plotting to assassinate NPPs running mate to Nana Akufo-Addo, Dr. Mahamadu Bawumia whose vehicle was involved in an accident on the Bole-Bamboi road in the Northern Region last Sunday. The Police Service on Thursday ordered the General Secretary to produce the vehicle which Dr. Mahamadu Bawumia was travelling in when he had the accident, but Sir John has dared the police to drag the issue to court since he do not have in possession the mangled vehicle. Speaking on Peace FMs morning show, Alfred Ogbamey rubbished Sir Johns utterances and called on him to behave as a lawyer. My brother Sir John did not speak well, no matter what he says, there will be no excuse, he is a lawyerHe (Sir John) cannot tell me that all of the sudden the NPP does not respect the integrity of police whiles in opposition. What kind of country do we build with that?. He (Sir John) claims he is taking the car to the manufactures, even if the insurance company is to pay Dr. Bawumia, they (the insurance company) will depend on the police report. I called on those supporting Sir Johns utterances to desist from that, he said. Meanwhile, the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has not issued any statement to demystify it secretarys comment, but some party members have rubbished the statement made by Sir John for accusing the ruling NDC for assassination.
