The Ministry of Youth and Sports has debunked recent media reports that the Sector Minister, Elvis Afriyie Ankrah, traveled in the Presidential jet to watch the Black Star's match against Sudan in Kumasi.
A statement signed by the PRO of the Ministry, Michael Frimpong described the reports as a total fabrication and outright falsehood, as the Minister travelled on Starbow and not the Presidential jet. It urged media practitioners to cross-check their facts before publication.
The statement further reminds the media that the Minister is operating an open door policy, and has made adequate provision to answer all questions and accept suggestions that will move Ghana sports forward.
