A political Science lecturer at the University of Ghana, Amidu Dramani has described Sekou Nkrumah as a non-serious politician. �I think that if indeed he wants everybody to see him as a serious politician he should let us know exactly where he belongs.� According to Mr. Dramani, �Mr. Nkrumah doesn�t really know what he wants; as a politician he doesn�t have any tradition or ideology. All he is looking for is where he can get closer to the corridors of power so as to get the benefits associated with African power. I do not see why Sekou Nkrumah should be moving from this party tradition to that one.� �If you are crossing carpets let�s see the seriousness and commitment but if at one time you move to this party and then for one reason or the other you say you�ve left the party� Sekou must know what he wants,� he concluded. Meanwhile Deputy General Secretary of the NDC, George Lawson has said the party will accept him as the prodigal son. �We will not reject anybody who wants to be part of us or who has gone and want to come back.� Mr. Lawson said Sekou is not the first person to have left the NDC and is coming back.
