Samuel Inkoom Denies Falling Out With The Ghana FA

Ghana defender Samuel Inkoom has dismissed talks of a breakdown in relations between him and the Ghana FA. Ex team manager of the Black Stars, Opoku Afriyie revealed in an interview Ghana FA officials harbour hatred for the on-loan Bastia right-back thus his prevented return to the national team. Afriyies revelation sought to create the impression there was bad-blood between the Ghana FA and the 23-year-old. But Inkoom insists his relations with the Ghana FA is just fine as he looks to work hard to make a Black Stars return. Really? (over breakdown in relations with the Ghana FA), well I have no idea but I hope its not the case, he told the 90 Minutes newspaper. To the best of my knowledge, I know there is a good rapport between the two parties so all I can do is to work hard here and see what happens. Inkoom was not picked for the 2013 Nations Cup due to his relative inactive club career during his time with Dnipro. His says his exclusion from the national team could only be for football reasons. It is a very delicate matter that I wouldnt want to go into (about his Black Stars exclusion), but if I have been left out for a couple of games I believe it could be for footballing reason, he adds. With me playing now at Bastia, I believe a return to the side will be on course.
