Renowned golfers across the country will take to the green field at the Royal Golf Club, Kumasi, as this year�s Asantehene Gold Cup competition tees off on May 24, 2013.
This year�s edition would mark the 56th edition of the competition and it is under the theme �Come Tee off to a Royal Connection�, and would also be designed in honour of the Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II.
His Royal Highness and the chief executive officer (CEO) of mobile telecommunication operators MTN, Mr Michael Ikpoki, would grace the occasion and also play along with the golfers.
The 44-hole event is put together by MTN and is expected to draw golfers from far and near to battle for supremacy since it is one of the biggest golf events in Ghana.
Winners of the competition would be rewarded with trophies and MTN customised souvenirs.
