Aduana Stars Boss Threatens To Withdraw From Ghana League

Aduana Stars could follow Berekum Arsenal through the exit door of Ghana football after their Chief Executive threatened to pull out of the League on Thursday. The FA has ordered the temporary closure of Nana Agyemang Badu Park, at Dormaa Ahenkro with immediate effect following the unfortunate incident which resulted in the physical assault of the Referee by supporters of Aduana FC during the GLO Premier League against Liberty Professionals. Aduana Stars CEO George Gyawu told Peace Power Sports on Thursday they will hold a meeting on Thursday to decide their future with the Ghana FA. The decision of the Executive Committee is bogus and well advise ourselves, Gyawu fumed Were not getting anything from playing in the League and for the Executive Committee to come out with such a bogus decision is unfortunate. Well also follow the footsteps of Berekum Arsenal and pull out of the League. Management will meet and then we will decide whether to play or not. When did the Kotoko issue happen? And when did the Aduana's supposed incident took place? There are people in the FA who have diabolical plans against certain clubs. We may also pull out of the League. Afterall what are we getting from it. Absolute nothing. The Executive Committee of the GFA took the decision in accordance with Article 15 (2) of the GFA Regulations which states that the GFA may order the closure of any league centre where the safety of Clubs, Match Officials or Spectators cannot be guaranteed.
