In most African countries, stigmatization is still a big challenge in the fight against HIV and AIDS.
This, the Co-ordinator, Society of Aids in Africa, Luc Bodea attributes, largely to ignorance about the disease.
He ascribes education as the tool for overcoming stimatization.
Mr. Bodea tells Radio Ghana that the International Conference on AIDS and STIs in Africa, ICASA 2013, will be a platform to address these challenges.
The conference will examine Africa's place at attaining MDG's and the way forward in fighting HIV and AIDS.
