NDC Is Best Known To Be Aggressive When Defeat Is Looming At Their Doorstep - Atik Mohammed

A policy analyst of the Peoples National Convention (PNC), Atik Mohammed, has chastised the attitude of the NDC in the ongoing 2012 election petition, saying that the NDC is best known for aggressiveness when things are not going in their favour. He said that the lawyers of the first and third respondents have adopted a lifestyle in this court case which must be discouraged; in that when they propose something to the court and later realize that their proposal will go against them then they are quick to retreat. Speaking on Okay FM, he said that what is happening in the counting of the pink sheet by KPMG is a clear demonstration of their behaviour; stressing that they know the counting will expose the lies hence their complains in the counting under the pretense that the boxes have been tampered with. He reiterated that the NDC was sensing abrupt defeat in the counting of the pink sheets because KPMG had reached half way through in the counting before they backed out with the excuse of bloating of boxes; adding that what the NDC knows best is to be aggressive when defeat is looming at their doorstep. He further said that it is not surprising that the NDC is now doubting the integrity and credibility of KPMG when they had earlier proposed for the counting of the pink sheets; stressing that the NDC lawyers and representatives signed to the agreement before KPMG commenced the counting. He implied that the NDC have indicated that they do not trust the registrar and this also means that the registrar has given wrong document to the judges which will invariably create indelible mark in the minds of their supporters. He alleged that the NDC wants to use the bloating of pink to coax their bidding that the pink sheet supplied to the registry was not up to the exact number purported to have been submitted. He therefore said that the NDC have no basis for their allegation because the registrar cannot manufacture additional pink sheet and that there is nothing in for their aggression; chiding that the NDC should not lie to the court and the public and then expect KPMG to cover up for them, consequently they are creating this tension that there is bloating of pink sheets in the vault.
