The mandate of Kotoko�s Executive chairman Dr Kofi Kodua Sarpong will be renewed by two more years.
Dr Sarpong�s official three-year mandate was completed last Friday but will be asked to continue for a further two years for his work ethics.
Owner and life Patron of the club, His Majesty Otumfuor Osei Tutu is expected to rubber-stamp Dr Sarpong�s new deal.
The former Tema Oil Refinery boss came under massive pressure in months past following the side�s shock exit from the CAF Champions League.
But he seems to have warmed his way into the heart of the supporters again and will be rewarded with a two-year renewable mandate.
Kotoko were making a return to the continent�s flagship event after a four year absence.
He is also given credit for finally getting the club�s multi-purpose building project for players and technical staff at Adako Jachie.
He also won the Ghana Premier League last season.
