Amidaus share points with Faisal

Visiting Amidaus Professionals fought gallantly to hold King Faisal to a 2-2 drawn game in their Glo-Premier League match Day 28 at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on Wednesday. It was the visitors who shot into the lead barely 11 minutes into the game when striker Selassie Adjei intercepted a Yahaya Mohammed through pass and buried the ball at the blind side of advancing goalkeeper Eric Antwi. Faisal, however, came back strongly to fetch the equalizer two minutes later through Sulley Mohammed. The bulky striker who was lurking in the vital area shrugged off a challenge from Amidaus' Baba Gullit and unleashed a thunderbolt to restore parity for the homers. The initial stages of the second half was not all that eventful, but the two teams with relegation staring them in the face, upped their game in the latter stages. Amidaus' striker Selassie took advantage of a defensive blunder, outpaced his marker and scored the second goal for his side on the stroke of time. Faisal, determined to snatch a point marshalled more men forward and succeeded in snatching the equalizer three minutes into injury time. It was Wilson Andoh who found the back of the net from a spot kick after substitute Yassir Boss was fouled in the 18-yard box.
