Anim steals show at cycling tour

Samuel Anim of the Young Stars Cycling Club emerged winner at the 92.1 km Koforidua-Adukrom-Koforidua race in the national Cowbell Cycling tour. The crowd that throng the finishing point at the Koforidua Jackson Park cheered endlessly for the sensational Anim who swept all the top awards at the end of the race. A total of 60 cyclists started the ninth stage at exactly 1035 hours and finished at 1316 hours with an average speed of 34.31 km per hour. Anim picked the Best Fighter (Red Jersey) and the Best by Point (Green Jersey) awards, the second and third highest jerseys respectively. Defending Champion, Henry Tetteh Djangmah, from the Die Hard Cycling Club, came second in the overall rating. Stephen Kabu from the HM club, Francis Tetteh from City Migro and Prosper Agbo also from Citi Migro club emerged third, fourth and fifth respectively.
